Boys State

Yesterday morning picked up Rex at 7:30 and were on the road.

Stopped at Heaven on Earth for some BIG breakfast....

Were at the U of O campus at 11:00am for registration, lots of blue shirts for help.....

Got Robin and Rex settled into their dorm rooms, they were not in the same building.

Funny thing is Steve attended U of O his freshman year of college and was in the Bean complex , same as Boys State.

I have to say it was quite overwhelming.......

After a blue shirt escorted us to his room he was told at 2:00pm the bar exam whould be held and if he chose to take it to study pages 7-15???

See the whole week is learning about Government and they form mock goverments from City level on up, Robin's fictional town was McLaughlin City.....

After a half an hour it was time for Steve and I to head on home, Rob & rex would be very busy, had official t shirts and were to be tucked in at all times.

Robin is a very confident boy but I did sense a bit of panic as we were leaving.. He will do just fine , hope I can do the same.

Sure will miss him this week.
