The Ugly Truth, { FOURTY NINE........}

Here is just one of the "MANY" pics I took trying to really CAPTURE the essence of 49.

I have a couple other favorites, will save those for later.

Do have a question, "How can you have bags and wrinkles at the same time?" "Don't the bags fill out the wrinkles?"

Well now, after all my loyal readers ( Brooke) have been waiting in suspense all night, I didn't have no stinkin service??
I did wake up with the camera snappin and photo journaled my SPECIAL day. Now this old broad is just to tired to get it all down, so will have to keep you in suspence a while longer..........
I did get a picture of the Dutch Bros folks who gave me my free birthday drink and sang Happy Birthday

Also want to thank all of you for the special birthday wishes !!!


Ok now I am off for my BEAUTY sleep . I sure need it now that I am 49 !!!

"HAPPY EASTER"

I love the flowering crab apple trees !!
Hope you all enjoyed spending time with your family today. We had an early dinner with mom over.
We are also trying to decide whether or not to paint the front door, it has been Black since we moved in. Which happened to be 11 years ago yesterday. Had Robin photoshop a deep red color on the door to see what it looks like, what do you think??

"What's up with THIS" ??

Robin spends more energy trying to keep me from taking his picture than I ever saw.
He can hear the soft hum of my camera turning on from 100 yards away, never saw such a FAST hand. Maybe it helps him in tennis. I keep telling him it will only hurt for a second, like getting a SHOT !!! I mean whats the big deal????

"We're Back"

Had a nice trip to the Coast, weather went from heavy rain to partial sunny, so got a nice variety. Robin & I went to indoor pool Friday night, Saturday drove to Shore Acres, if you have never been there it is a must. Any time of the year is something to see. Saw spring flowers and whales off shore. While eating lunch in Charleston saw the draw bridge go up to let a boat thru. Had a nice walk on the beach until mist turned to RAIN. Ate pizza at old town Bandon for dinner. This morning at 5:30 I made Steve get up with me and drive down to face rock in hope of getting a Almost FULL moon shot over the ocean, just a little to cloudy to be bright enough to photograph. Stayed until light then drove to grocery store to get a little something to eat for breakfast and hit the road. Drove back down the coast to Brookings and home that way. Over all a very nice getaway.
