Great Weekend

Started with dinner Friday night to celebrate Janie's birthday, yummo...

Saturday croppin at SBK...

Since Chadd's kids had birthdays while at home in Boise, we decided to have a surprise party while they are here for the summer... so Sunday it was Leslieann's turn... yes she was surprised.....and she is wearing one of her new outfits...

Then a trip to Brookings where it was BEAUTIFUL....

Well spent my first week just hanging out in GP with "C's" son, daughter and of course Grandpa...

Have had interesting weather... lots of clouds, some rain and Thunder and Lighting.....

Have been to the local park pool a couple times, kids really enjoying it....

Has Winnie over for an overnight, went pretty well, sure miss that dog....

2000 Ford Escort

Guess we didn't have all the facts right on the car Robin won, it is NOT a 2002 Ford Focus, but it is a 4 door sedan, 55,000 miles, auto trans, front wheel drive, air conditioning, power steering, windows, door locks, cruise control etc. Very nice little car. But the word is he is selling it and Anita has first dibs for her daughter......

UPDATE

The car Rob won is a 2002 Ford Focus with 55,000 miles on it. He already has his little Ford Ranger pickup, so may sell the car to help pay for college.

The four tassels Robin wore are as follows:

Gold - Academic Honors
White - Torch Honor Society ( one of only 34 students out of around 400)
Silver - State Benchmark Mastery
Red & Black - Graduating Class

The Scholarship he recieved was: Laurel's Scholarship (Southern Oregon University)

And he recieved the President's Award for Educational Excellence

OH except that Robin WON a car in the raffle at the Grad night party !!!!!!!! Don't have any details yet... will let you know as soon as I find out more. I do know it is not new and it is BLUE !!!!

Class of 2009 Graduation Tonight

I woke up feeling a little emotional......

How can the baby be Graduating, seems just like yesterday he was a baby.....

Sure to have plenty of photos to post tomorrow.

My "C" is off this morning to pick up his two youngest from the airport in Portland, they will be spending 10 weeks with us.. should be fun. Me, a 92 year old grandpa, 11 year old DJ, and 9 year old Leslieann.....

24 hours and Counting....

Class of 2009 North Medford High School GRADUATION....

Took Robin out to breakfast this morning, then to get his haircut, which Denise at Stewart Ave Barbershop said was on the house today for his Graduation, they have been cutting his hair from the time he was just a tot....also went shopping for a suit, new shirt, new tie, new socks and new VANS....

He is going to look very HANDSOME !!!

SOU Honors College

In order to qualify for this , Robin had to take some test to challenge the college courses.... by passing he now is qualified to enter the HONORS College at SOU... Thats my BOY !!!!
