I answered the phone at work yesterday and it was Jackson County Courts looking for Laura P ! " Yes that is me, how can I help you ?" " I see here you are available to come in on Fridays, we would like you to report in this Friday, Feb 1st and will need to finish out the term , every Friday until Feb 29th."

Ok, no getting out of that !

And from my orientation last month , I know the "FRIDAY" jurors tour the county jail facilities and fill out reports as to their findings??!!!

AND, OF COURSE ALL OF THIS IS CONFIDENTIAL INFO ! So Laura has to keep her big mouth shut about everything that she does on these Friday's !!

So DON'T ask me anything about it, pretend I am in the secret service........

Monday Morning

Looking out the window at the snow, it is very pretty...

the trickiest part of getting to work today was getting from the house to the car.......

Holy Crapoly SNOW STORM !!

Started at 1:00 pm and at 4:00pm took the last picture, I just took a ruler out and measured 8 inches.
Dr Leong just called to say he is calling patients to cancel tomorrow. Sandi called from Central Point and they have 2 inches right now at 5:30pm.
Steve & I walked to McAndrews hill and watched cars & trucks slide down, then after the city gravel truck slid by they closed the upper Mc Andrews Rd.

Well I am having my cuppa joe from my new mug I got yesterday from Carolyn. We FINALLY got together for lunch and to exchange Christmas gifts.
Carolyn gave me a cute snowman mug and some coffee and we had a 3HOUR lunch date !!
Met at 11:30 @ Kalidascope Pizza for a Blackened Chicken Ceasar Salad(YUMMY, BROOKE & AMBER !!) And visited , visited, visited...... Kept asking the waitress if we had to leave. Then looked at pictures Carolyn brought, she knows me so well.....
Then after talking about all our health issues and weight gain decided we needed to share a piece of carrot cake and have a cup of coffee....... Then I remembered Robin was going to call me when he was done at a drama work day( no school)to pick him up.... better check my phone, nope hadn't called yet...... headed out to the parking lot and still talking...... when my phone rings, it's Robin and he is ready to be picked up and it is also 3:00 !!!
No wonder all the waitstaff kept looking at us....

OH also I forgot to add Brooke to my list of "turning 50" this year, says a friend of hers who is turning 50 is getting eye liner tatoo, YIKES !! Don't have any big plans for me this year since I got my ankle tatoo last year..........

Croppin' Fun Day .......

Had a fun "long" day, 10:30am-9:30pm at No Bare Pages.

Worked half of the day on two, layout of Mendocino, then just slapped pictures down for part of the Fort Bragg/Skunk train trip.

Today I am going to No Bare Pages for an all day Crop ! A fun day with a bunch of the "GF's" Janie, Marna, Anita, Lisa, Vivien, Carma Did I leave anyone out????

After reading on Karen Russell's blog about Annie in a leopard print dress, I just had to pull out these pictures.

Robin was about 2 years old, and no I did not buy these for him, not to say I wouldn't have if I had seen them. Steve's sister gave them to me with a bunch of clothes at the baby shower, of which none of them ever fit because he was a large size baby boy..... I returned all the rest but just couldn't make myself part with these gems.

And what better place to eat a drippy ice cream than in the wading pool, smart boy.....

Today dad would have been 72 years old.

I miss him like crazy. This is one of his "ugly" mugs.
He really was more of a "Standley Thermos" coffee drinker.

Can't believe he has been gone 6 years..........

No not really !! Doc was out with the flu Monday so we have been wanting to try out a new tooth bleaching system we purchased on a guinea pig(me) before we tried it on a "REAL" patient.

Friday Night Wii Party

Robin & Tj hosted a Wii party at our house, didn't know what to make of them wearing a Tie?? But then as each guest arrived they met them at the door and bowed handing them a controller....
Didn't get a picture of that but it was pretty funny.
Gabby wasn't able to make it as she was cheerleading at a North basketball game.
lots of food and soda's and well behaved kids.....
Glad it turned out so nice.
